Baptist Hospital Diet

Recommended Posts

My friend gave me this diet to try. I am having my surgery on June 1st and I have been doing the Protein Shake for breakfast and lunch and Low Cal microwave meal for dinner. I have also been eating salad and vegetables. I am already tired of the shakes. I thought I might give this a try since my mom and sister will be here Thurs - Tues for my sons graduation. It would give me a chance to eat normal for the days they are here.

Seems to be pretty decent, but I agree kind of random that you need to eat that to the T, especially with ice cream. I've seen somewhere you get three protien options, three veggies, etc...and you choose one of each of those. Hot dogs is random too. Don't see anything too extreme on here, so i'd give it a try! I'm a no go with bread anymore so couldn't do that but since you are pre-op you would be fine.

Good luck!!

i've tried this... it was years ago.. it was probably like 10 years ago..i was getting ready for my sweet 15. i did it, but i gained it all back... i havent done this with my lapband.. i find it alot easier to eat the healthy stuff and have variety... these kinds of diets made me hate the thought of following planned meals.
