    Halloween!

Are you at your current weight of 150 here? You don't look like you're 150. You look like your so much less.
  2. I just made one today! Go to tickerfactory.com and follow the directions. It's super easy. And yes, you can do two.
  3. Thank you for your kind words!! I always appreciate your comments! I am so sorry that you've had such a difficult time, but I'm very glad that you got the band and are happier because of it.

As the days pass I get more and more nervous about the band. I wonder sometimes if it will help me with my depression or if it will make it worse. I can't keep the negati...

  4. Thanks Erica. I appreciate your comments. Any advice on how to stay positive? I try but...I feel like everything is going out of control. I feel like I don't have a grasp on anything anymore.

  5. Thank you all for your replies. I have had too much time to think, so now I'm moving on to "What can keep me from having my surgery?" BUT, from you responses, it sounds like all is going to go great. I'm just so anxious. A little more than a month left.
  6. I know that before the band surgery, OCC will be doing Pre-Op tests. Can anyone tell me what they are, and what can keep me from getting banded next month?
  7. It's SO much fun to read all of your replies to my funny question. Like I had mentioned earlier, I am very tempted to buy a few things in super small sizes, LOL. I saw a dress online that is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and it's white and burgundy. I'm currently a size 10 or 12, but I wanted to order it in a 6. A lot of people mentioned that they flew pretty quickly through some of their sizes, so I'm debating ordering it, even though I can't even fathom "flying through" or even GETTING TO a size 6!!
  8. Did anyone buy new smaller clothes before they actually lost the weight or before you got the actual band?? I haven't done it yet, but I'm sooo tempted!!
  9. Thanks "RevyD"!!!! What you say makes a lot of sense because as healthy as a BMI of 20 sounds, 124 pounds actually doesn't sound healthy for ME at all, although on someone else it may be fine. It's good to know not to depend TOO MUCH On those numbers.
  10. I am scheduled for surgery in December with a current BMI of 30. I wanted to ask those of you who have already been bonded, is a BMI of 20 a realistic goal? With my height (5'6") that would be 124 pounds. I know that for my height, 124 pounds isn't underweight or anything, but because I've been in the 170s for so long, I wonder if a healthy BMI of 20 is even possible...
  11. Thank you "canuk98828"! That definitely does help, and I'm happy that once again i hear that it was the best decision you made to change your life. I guess it's just soooo nerve wracking!! But like I said I'm very very excited, and it helps to hear from others just like you!!!
  12. I scheduled my surgery in the beginning of September, and since then have been IMPATIENTLY waiting for 12/20/10! I am so excited for the surgery I don't know what to do with myself, but at the same time I have sooooooo many questions. Sometimes I even wonder if I shouldn't go with the surgery and what people will think once it's done. For all of you who are already banded, tell me what made it WORTH IT to go through with the surgery? And when did you stop worrying about what other people would think? I just need some help to get my head back in the game! THANKS!!
  13. im also scheduled for 12 20 2010

    how excited r u?

  14. Hi Krista I am new to this as well. I am scheduled for December. What's your beginning BMI? What's your goal?
