Scars?

I just wanted to know how bad are the incision sites after surgery? Do they leave bad scars? Please let me know what your experience is/was like! Thanks!

THIS PIC WAS TAKEN A YEAR AND A HALF AFTER BANDING, IT'S THE ONLY ONE YOU COULD SEE AT THE TIME. NOW, THAT'S JUST ABOUT GONE. I REALLY HAVE TO HUNT FOR IT. (the other scar is from a TT)

I'm curious as to how old your TT scar is. I will definitely be getting a tummy tuck. Unsure if I'll do it before or after kids, as I'm months away from having a proper consult. :-)

I took some 6 month pics and wanted to share. Really, my big scar is the only one that is really visible and the others look like bug bites. I didn't use any Mederma or scar stuff, but I am a stickler (and was before surgery) about using lotion every day and drinking lots of water. Healthy hydrated skin heals better.

I took pics the day after surgery but they grossed me out so bad I deleted them. Kind of wish I would have kept them now. Everyone is very different on how they heal, but mine have done pretty well.

Wow, my scars are 3 times bigger than yours, your surgeon did a great and very small :) .. job. I hope everyone else also has very tiny scars or none :)

My Stats In Australian Metric, I had my surgery done in Melbourne, Australia:


Height 170cm / Starting Size: 18 (AU)
Starting/Highest Weight 01/Jan/09: 112kg
Date of Surgery Weight 11/Feb/09: 103Kg(226 Lbs) (9Kg (19.8Lbs) lost in 2 weeks on pre-op)
NO WEIGHT LOST AS YET SINCE SURGERY 14 Weeks ago :(


1st Fill, 1.5 cc - 30th March 2009
2nd Fill, 2 cc - 27th April 2009
3rd Fill, 1 cc - 17th May 2009
4th Fill, 1 cc - 25th May 2009
5th fill, 1 cc - 13th July 2009 (I THINK THIS IS MY SWEET SPOT! I FEEL RESTRICTION) :)
- - Removed .5cc - -
6th fill, .5 cc - 1st October 2009 - Getting used to it.. Lost 6 kilos since my last fill!
7th fill, .5cc - 26th October 2009 Gained 4 kilos but now with this fill - I am struggling to have soups.. so this might be the real sweet spot lol!
8th fill, .3cc - 30th November - Lost 2 kilos at weigh in with dr *yay* was eating too much so needed a mini fill!
