Ref B-20220 sn 13902273...So does that mean its 10cm around with a restriction capacity 10 cc, or 4cc..No where on the ID card does it say 4cc, I always thought I had a 4cc....Confused now!

I always thought I had a 4cc band...Well I was diggin in my purse and looked at my card...It says Lap-Band 10.0cm

1 -27-09--started pre op diet...
2/10/09---weight 167.5 OCC
3/3/09----165 (whats up with that)
3/26/09---first fill 164.8
5/28/09---third fill, 3.0cc in band, same weight
1/17/10-- weight 156
3-4-10----removed .5CC actual 2.0cc in band.
3-29-10---152.6lbs
4-20-10---151.8lbs
4-25-10---149.8LBS
4-30-10---TT, BREAST LIFT AND LIPO WITH DR NYTE
5-25-10---144.0 lbs (Current)
7-1-10--Same weight, but a size 8 now...
7-29-10 143lbs slow but steady
8-9-10---141.4

I got confused as well. 10cm = 4cc.
It was explained to me that there is a difference between 10"cc" instead of 10"cm".
Does that help?

My band is a 10 cm 4 cc band. I suppose yours is too. The larger bands are 10 cc.
BMI 45.2 Surgery date 4/24/09
Weight pre-surgery 279.8 - Pre-op diet 265 > 14.8 lbs (5% = 15 lbs) - Post-op diet 262 - Current 229
Total fill 2.4 cc's in a 4 cc Alergan band.

I have an 11 cc band
My Stats: Age 51( just turned 52) / Height 5'6" / Size 5x, 30-32/ wearing size 14 now
Highest weight: 317
Starting weight pre-0p: 297
Weight on surgery Day : 269
BANDED SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2009
Johnson & Johnson - SAGB BD3XV (11cc)
Goal weight set by Dr. Miranda : 175
Update: Nov 1/09 Pants fell off :) Went to store and am now a size 2x. Love my band!
Update : Jan 9/10 Bought size large yoga pants at Walmart and they fit (ye ha )
Update: May 10/10. Now wearing a size 14
UPDATE:JULY3RD......I REACHED MY GOAL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had an extended tummy tuck, thigh tuck and lipo on July 8th/2010

So I went to the OCC this past weekend and I asked Dr. So this question.
He said ( I may be a little off) the 4cc band is 10cm in diameter.
and the 10cc band is 11cm in diameter...
