  1. Thanks for the replies. He did decide to call. Spoke to Dr. Martinez (that's who did our surgeries). They talked for a long time. He told my husband it was probably gas buildup from eating and drinking throughout the day. That's why it's so much worse at night. Gave him several suggestions to try. He even wants to hear back from him in 48 hours. I'm totally impressed with this doctor. He's awesome. Now we feel much better about it all. I guess in situations like this, it's always best to speak with the doctor.
  2. My husband and I were both banded two weeks ago today. I haved not had any complications, only the severe hunger I've been going through and minor gas issues, but it's getting better. He has not been so lucky. He has this severe hurting in his stomach area every evening. Starts around 4:00 or 5:00 pm. He said he feels this horrible pressure where the band is. Almost like a cramping pain. Usually it's sometime during the night when it finally goes away. This has been going on ever since the surgery, even during the broth stage. We have been walking, and he hasn't eaten anything but small portions of soup. Does this sound normal? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
