  3. 101 pounds down. My weight loss has definitely slowed way down. I guess because I am so close to my goal. Only 17 to go until I reach Dr. Miranda's goal for me.

Great job! Has it been a struggle or did it come off easily?

  4. I would like to know how to upload more photos to my gallery. I've noticed many memebers have several large pics and I am only able to upload one small one. Could anyone please help me? My avatar photo is now gone also and it won't let me add a new one. Frustrated!

  6. Congratulations! You are such an inspiration!!

  7. 78 pounds down this morning!!

  8. Thank you all for helping me with this. I guess I'm getting enough protein, I suppose I have to keep better track of that. I usually have protein with every meal, because I have found that is what keeps me from getting so hungry between meals, but I can't say exactly how much protein. I lose bunches in the shower, the hair brush is full and has to be cleaned 2 or 3 times while drying, then more hair when I style, then more hanging from my clothes!!! The bathroom floor is usually covered too. I know it is gross, and I still have plenty of hair left, thank the Lord! I'll let you all know if things change after keeping a closer watch on my protein intake. Thanks again!
  9. I've lost 74 pounds in 5 months and have been losing hair for about 2 months now. I thought the hair loss would slow down, but it hasn't. I'm losing hair all day long. Luckily I have very thick hair, but this is becoming kind of scary. Has anyone else experienced this? The lady that does my hair has another client that had lapband surgery and that client lost a lot of hair too, but I've never been told this could be a "side effect". Just curious and wondering if there is anything I should be doing or taking to slow it down some. Thank you!
  10. way to go, bet you had a blast

  11. My surgery was Feb. 18, 2010. The surgery was easier than I thought it would be, but that doesn't mean it was a piece of cake. I recovered quickly and was shopping a bit the next day with another lady that had her lapband surgery the same day I did. I've lost 74 pounds so far, and have experienced a couple plateaus which are frustrating. I've never been able to lose this much weight doing anything else. I highly recommend OCC and all the doctors and staff there. Of course I was nervous going to TJ for surgery, but everything was wonderful and they are all so very nice, extremely caring, and helpful. I refuse to go anywhere else for fills, even though I have to travel from Florida, we just save our money so I can go there. Going to OCC has been one of the best decisions of my life! Let us know what you decide.
  12. That's amazing! Great Job!
