Hi, I am on day 7 after plication. I was horribly constipated and wanted to give a tip about what worked for me for relief. Phillips Milk of Magnesia. It doesn't taste good but it does the trick. I may start adding some fiber powder, but liquids right now seem the safest.

Hi Jody, I had my plication on Feb 20th. I have just started cream soups. I can only eat about 3oz. I like Campbell's butternut squash soup that comes in a box and the soup at hand Creamy tomato. I am going to the store today to see what they have. I may try split pea soup. Make the soup and try it. You can always freeze it for next week if it is too heavy. Good luck.

How does the plication affect the absoprtion of the medications that you take? Do the meds need to be taken more often or in smaller amounts? Thanks!

I was wondering if any changes need to be made to medications after surgery. Does the stomach continue to absorb them the same way? Thanks!
