I only felt a little sting, but I never look at the needle also. I also asked them not to tell when they are going to stick me, that way I will not be anticipating it. It has worked for me.

This sounds just like what was doing. When they did it under x-rays, still no leakage. The last I went for my fill it should have had about 5 cc but nothing was there. They decide the port might be leaking and I told them to replace it. After then replacement it was checked and it was leaking around the edge of port. They told me where it was leaking it could not have been detected. Now that it has been replaced everything is great.

I had my port replaced on Nov 14 and they filled it. I can't even swallow a sip of liquid or my on saliva. I spoke with Dr on Sat morning and she said I was to full to come back on Monday morning to have some took out. I lost 4 lbs in 24 hours but it has been the rough way. I am so thirsty for water right now. But hope fully with the port replaced things will start to happen now. I have just keep a good outlook on it.

Yes my doctor takes it out first but it was only showing small amts to begin with. But when I waited a month for this last fill it was empty. They will also cut into the same place as they did to in port to begin with. So thank goodness only one incision this time.

My surgery was done NE Texas. In my port study they had me drink the barium and then in the port they injected flouroscopic so they could any leakage under the xray. They could see any leakage, said it must have a very small leak.

I have been getting fills every 2 weeks since the middle of July and have no restriction at all. My surgery was Sept. 2007. I have had a port study done in September and they said all was good. But when I went back 2 weeks later I lost 2.4 CC out of band/port (had 7CC two weeks before). One month ago they put in 1 CC and when I went back yesterday there was nothing on my band and it has been hurting some at the port. Now they have decided to put in a new port next Friday (Nov 14) because it seems to be leaking. I am so happy because I was beginning to think it was all in my head. Maybe I can get back on track after this.

I feel the same way as you ever since I had an unfill. It has been going on like that since July. I have had a fill every 2 weeks and still have no restriction. I can also eat anything I want and it is so hard. I have between 6-7cc in my band (it holds 14cc) and still nothing.

How much does each band size hold. All I know is my papers say "Lap-Band with AP small band"

I think my tube might have a kink in it or it is twisted. My band might have slipped. I don't know what it is but something is not right. So here is my story I had my surgery 11 months ago with a local doctor. Everything was good I was just about at my sweet spot when they gave the next fill of .5 cc and it put it a little full. The Dr said it was too full and took out he said .4cc much to my dislike and that should have left 5.9cc after the unfill. When I got home I could eat or drink anything & was hungry all the time just like before I had surgery. I call them and went back for another fill. I had them to pull and tell how much was in there and they said 4.5cc, so there was 1.4 cc missing. She filled it .5 and 2weeks late another .5. It had the right correct amt when she pulled it (5.5cc). But still no restriction. I went back this past Tuesday and the put .5 cc in (which should have made 6.0cc) and with that she told me I had 6.8 cc. So this trip I gained an extra .8cc from somewhere. At 6.3cc I was throwing up but now I still have no restriction at 6.8cc. They told me it was very sluggish and hard to get it out. I asked for a port study and am waiting to get in. Please tell me if anyone has had this problem.
