I wrote on here like a week ago about only being able to eat like three bites and getting stuck. So I was wondering if I was to tight, then somebody sugguested to take smaller bites and chew better. So I have tired this and I am still not able to eat more then three bites of anything. You would think that would be good but the fact is I havent even lost a pound. I am so confused on how to make this band work. I almost want to give up! Somebody tell me the secret. I have been living on protein shakes.

I have been banded almost 2 years never felt any restr. I finally went to my 4th fill I have a little over 3.0cc. I can only have like 3 bits of anything I eat. So I thought maybe I could get soft food down but even like top ramon soup I can only get like three bites down. Does this mean I am to tight or is this is how it is suppose to work. I know it shounds dumb but I am not sure if I am full or not because mental in my head I want to finish everything in front of me. I am hicuping alot and I have slimed twice. Please some one let me know should I be taking in more food then this. I am getting to scared to eat cause after three bites it hurts. HAHA maybe I'll scare myself skinny! Thanks :lb12:

I have been banded for a year and a half I have had 4 fills. I lost 23 pounds and have gained everything back. I am so jelous everytime I come on this forum and you are all do so wonderful. I have never even felt the band work I can eat anything any time. I thought it was suppose to help me but so far it has just hurt my pocket. I am not sure if I want to keep putting out money when nothing is happening. I am ready to give up

So I got my first fill after waiting 5 whole long months because of money situation and not being able to find babysitters to watch the kids. Long story short its not working I have no restr. I can still eat what ever I want. What makes me mad the most is I am paying off this loan for nothing what a waste of money. I am so good about what I eat too. I just dont get it. Who knows how long it will be before I can go again!

Wow it sound like your under a lot of stress keep your spirts up! I was banded the same day as you and you are doing really well compared to me I have only lost 23 pounds and have been sitting at the same weight forever it seems, like you I am so mad I spent all this money for what 23 pounds. I have yet to have my first fill but working on getting down there. Just try to keep your head high

I struggle every day with how much I should be eating and like you I know the band is working because when I eat to much my side starts to hurt yet I still think I am hungry and keep eating and pay the price for about an hour after wards

I see alot of you are already sched. for a fill and you all have been banded after me. When I called the center they said I had to wait th ewhole 6 weeks. I am eating everything on my plate I have no problem getting anything down. I lost 17 pounds after surgery I so don't want to gain it back. Somebody tell me something please

I have been on solids for two weeks now and have been scared to death to gain the weight back I have lost, it has been a struggle. My question to you is are you getting a fill in mexico if so how did you get them to book it so fast for you. I was banded on the 19th and they said I cant come until June. I would love to go early so I can keep my weight fallen off

Hi I did not lose any weight before the surgery turthfully I did not even diet or do the pre op diet I even had my last big meal the night before no later then 4pm. I did not have any problems just gas pain
