I have Verizon and just got my bill today!! Total shocker to see that my normally $45 bill turned into $100. They charged me for roaming...it didn't even cross my mind that this could happen because we were so close to the US. I have also had my phone say "roaming" before and never received extra charges. Maybe I will call them and find out what the deal is. UGGGHH!!! Thanks for posting this topic...thought I was the only one.

I am not sure but it is my understanding that if you flip your port you'll know it. It is also my understanding that it takes quite a bit to flip it...but I am sure like most things, everyone is different.

Banded4Life, Try not to be too hard on yourself. We all make mistakes and have all been in your shoes before!! Just take a deep breath and step away from the cheetos!! Just remember, you spent a lot of money and time, not to mention recovery, to get this band. You are almost there...!! Try to examine why you did this and discover if any feelings, etc. were attached to the behavior. If you can identify what made you eat those cheetos, you may be able to prevent it in the future. Good luck!!

No worries, her port did not flip. She developed a hematoma around her port which was not allowing it to heal. So, that is why it had to be relocated. It is very, very rare and not something that happens often.

I will do so. She should be back soon. She is enjoying a few days in SD before returning home on Wednesday. I am sure you will hear from her then!!

Hello all. I hate to answer for Caroline but I know it will be several days before she can make it to a computer so I know she won't mind. She called me right after her surgery on Friday and she was doing great. Dr. O and staff took good care of her and moved her port. They cleaned up the old site and stiched it up. They were going to check her everyday until she left Tijuana (which is today). I will let Caroline give all the details, just wanted to let you know she was doing well. Hello All. I have another one to add that I did not see on this list for individuals in the NW area. Dr. Neal in Lacey & Shelton, Washington. It is $375 for a fill and he only does fills with xray. He will take anyone and was trained by Dr. O. Hope this helps!!

Hello girlies, I lost almost 15 lbs on doing my pre-op for 8 days. I was really getting board and quite frankly, thought I was going to puke if I ate another salad or bowl of soup!! Somethings that helped me get through were Dryer's sugar-free fruit bars (only 30 calories) and sugar free jello. I also sauted veggies using pam cooking spray, some garlic, and spices. It was delish and even lower in calories then the LC meals. Hope this helps...enjoy the journey as it will alll be over soon!!

Just wanted to send a quick note to everyone that I received my wonderful "toolbelt" today. I am going to call it that because that's how I see it. It's a "belt" around my stomach which will allow me use of it as a "tool" should I so choose to use it proprerly. I can't wait to start this amazing, crazy, new and beautiful life. Thanks to EVERYONE for your support. You do not know how helpful it is to have the forum and you are all a part of that!! P.S. I hope I am making sense, I still a little dopped up! How do they know that I am the same person?? Do they not check it out that closely?? Do I need to bring my marriage licence? Thanks!!

Hello all. I have a question about the hotel. First of all, what are the rooms like? Are they your standard hotel room? Second, do they have a microwave and minifridge? I am bringing my husband and child and my daughter is still in the bottle stage. I am concerned about how to heat her formula and rice cereal, etc. Thank you in advance to all who respond!!
