Ok guys its been awhile since I've been here. My daughter and I had our bands placed in Aug 18th I've lost 40some pounds and Jackie has lost 60lbs. We have had our first fill and that was included in the weight total. I have 2 questions, when do I et my next fill? I can pretty much eat ahything that I want. I maintain around 228-230 my scales seem strange some times too,and Do you guys pb alot? I've caught myself eating too fast and it happens then, or I drink something and it is like I swallow alot of air. I don't drink with straws and when I do I don't have the p-bing as much. Keep Jackie in your thoughts and prayers, she had a car accident the day after Thanksgiving totaled our car but is doing wonderfully,now. I did have the Trauma Surgeons make sure her band was ok and it was. So wehave had a busy 2 months. Hopefully I'll be able to keep everyone aware of what is going on with us. Welcome aboard, My daughter and I were banded 8/15/08. It is really nice to have a buddy to go into this with. Just remember that when you get down YOU do have alot of back up here. Congrats on your new decission and what a wonderful Birthday Present to yourself. :lb5:

Just banded on Friday did ok in TJ but the airport was a nightmare We had chicken broth from chicken noodle soup really thick though more like full liquids hoprfully now that home back to clear liquids Hope no damage done and now just drinking alot Is it okay to use straws

Okay guys, I'm really excited to go to Mexico,but of course Our TV station here has started their coverage of the beloved "BED BUG" yuck. Every time I go away to a hotel this always pops up in my . Anything to worry about??? Also is it clean, I'm sure it is from what I have read. One more question,my daughter Rachael will be joining us in TJ and was wondering if she can use her portable DVD player, do we need a current transformer you know, like from 220v to 110v?? With traveling overseas as a military brat all these question arise.lol

Well my daughter has lost her wieght but I just can't seem to get down the last 2 lbs. Frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm going to do this. I talked to Renee to get my travel time set up I'M GETTING VERY EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also what fun things did you guys do in TJ. My supervisor will only let me go if I bring back Tequilla with the worm in it.lol. Do you guys know if this is ok and how did it go through customs and the plane???????? Thanks Anna

Hi guys, Well, I went to work today so happy. I have lost 8 of my 10 pounds before surgery. One of my good friends came by and offered to go get everyone Dairy Queen(she knows this is my fav,but she was so concered that she ask me if it was ok to still ask everyone else, a true friend) any way I said I couldn't but feel free to get everyone something else(I got a Diet Coke). Then as I thought I had done good A drug rep came by and brought us a CHOC. Cake my weakness But I did it I stayed totally away from both I'm SOOOOOOO proud of myself. For me there was a time I would actually try to sneak some and this time I was true to myself YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! :lb21:
