  1. Hi all, It's been less than 7 months since my surgery and I am down 63 pounds. You'd think after all this time, I'd have figured this out, but I don't have a clue and would love some input. On previous posts, I have seen mention of "sliming." I believe this refers to the buildup of saliva and mucus that is often coughed up. I have had multiple problems with feeling overly full and regurgitating. Most of it is this mucus stuff and only part of it is actual food. I can't figure out why there is so much of this "slime." Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks all, Meg

Hi all, I was wondering if you guys would check out my website and let me know what you think. I am considering publishing the poems, but I just can't be sure they are good enough. Thanks, Megan stuwww.tcu.edu/meganherman/10203/
  4. Hi, I was recently prescribed Requip by my neurologist for periodic limb movement that would disturb my sleep. Has anyone here ever taken it? If so, did it make you gain more weight or have any other adverse side-effects? Thanks
  5. Hi, I was banded June 24, 2008, roughly two and a half weeks ago. It has been about a month since starting the pre-op and i am down nearly 20 pounds. I have had pain in the lower left side of my stomach for several months now. I mentioned it to the nurse at the weight-loss clinic and she said that it was just digestive problems. I don't know if she really inderstood that the pain had been there pre-Lap band and was just becoming worse and more frequent. About a month prior to the banding, I had a week where every night I was writhing in pain. The first night it happened, I actually went down to my mom. I am nearly twenty and haven't gone to her at night in years. It hurt every night that week, but it wasn't as bad and kept happening earlier every night. I have had pain in my side everyday since being banded. While I am not writhing from it, it still hurts greatly. Should I be concerned??
