  1. It may also depend on what you are eating. I have a list that I keep in my phone to remind me of what I am eating. Try eaing soup. I eat soup alot. Hopefully your band will loosen up. I also can eat cereal, bananas, oatmeal, fish, guac sometimes. Yogurt, pudding, DO NOT GIVE UP!! Get through it. Lori
  2. I have noticed stress make me tight. I had two b day parties this weekend and couldn't keep a thing down. I think I had too much to do.
  3. I have also noticed quite a bit of hair falling out when I shampoo. I am positive it lack of protien. I was told unless I get 60grams a day it will fall out and it is. I am not getting that because I am eating sliders like chips. I am doing protien shakes tomorrow morning.
  4. I know exactly what you mean. I was wondering the same thing. But it is so hard to stop so soon. My counselor told me 30-45 min per meal and we shold eat about 1/3 of what you normally would. I am the fastest eater you have ever seen. I am trying to slow down. We need some advice from some veterens. I am only losing about a pound a week and to be honest I am not exercising. I would like to lose 2 lbs per week and I know how to do it. Lori
  5. I keep zip loc bags in my car too!! Something about eating and driving i am not paying attention to my bites. Also I learned about the baggies the hard way. I PB'd in the paper bag the chicken had come in and then it came through the bag all over my purse and car!! At least PB'ing doesn't smell bad!!
  6. My advice is to get a babysitter and go window shopping. Just go to the mall and try on clothes. That always motivates me. Also plan out exactly what you are going to eat. I am two months post op and I am yo yo dieting, a couple of lbs so my weight is way slower. If I would stay focused it would help. I have done WW alot so I am back to counting points. That way I know what I am eating. I have a sweet tooth so I plan for a little treat everynight. Also if I feel like I could eat more during dinner I don't because I know my treat will be soon. Write everything down you eat. Think of something to get back on track. Lori
  7. Robbyn, You have it going on. What a wonderful thing to do!! Sounds great. Perhaps you can give me a cooking class when you get here. Have fun watching the pounds melt away!! Lori
  8. Way to go!!! I am so happy for you. Enjoy the liquid phase it was actually easy. If you get bored we can all give you ideas to add little excitement. Now teo months post op seems to be the real learning part. Learning how to eat for the rest of my life. We will see you in Frisco!! Lori
  9. Sometimes we all feel this way. I read an article that said "you will not be the 1 in 100,000 people this doesn't work for. Work the program and you will lose. It isn't that hard if you out your mind to it. You can do it!!!
  10. Awesome news!! Yes count me in on the walking club also. See you here soon!! Lori

  12. I went two years ago to get band and they said no. Two years later I gained 15 lbs and woke up on Sunday and saw a commercial on TV and called them Monday and was banded on Friday. I am very happy with my decision. It is alot of work still but I am not hungry.
  13. I had my husband hide my scale and it drove me crazy. I told him not to do that anymore. I am more of a control freak than I ever thought. I love to weigh myself.
  14. We have Papa Murphy's in Texas also and I always forget about it. I love the Delights pizzas. We may go pick up one this week,
