Hi Sabrina Thank you so much for that info. That definately would be an option and especially since my son lives in Seattle, I could go to visit him as well and stay the night. Hi I see I am not getting any response so I will narrow the field a bit. I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I would perfer to go back to the OCC for my fill but because of my work schedule until late October or November, I am not sure that I will be able to. My second option would be to find a fill doctor that uses X-ray fluoroscope to do the fills in Calgary, perferably. If no luck, then in Alberta and if still no luck perhaps in a neighboring province. I was banded on June 24/09 and will probably get my first fill in early September. Just wondering if any one from Western Canada knows of a Doctors that does fills with X-ray fluoroscope. I have heard of a few of the fill doctors in my area but they do not use X-ray fluoroscope to do the fills to my knowledge.

Hello Does any one have information on Doctors that do Fluoroscopic Fills in Western Canada. I would perfer to go to the OCC for the fill but with my work schedule until mid October, I might not be able to make it there for the first fill which should be about the end of Aug. I would like to be perpared with a second option if possible, so if any one has information on Fill Doctors in Western Canada that use Flouroscope, I would appreciat it. Thanks

Hello I am also vit D deficient. I take 10,000 iu daily. The brand name is SISU. They are very tiny pills and are sublingual. I put all ten of them under my tongue at once and the melt all most instantously. I take them just before I go to bed. I don't know if you can get them in grocery stores but you can get then in health food stores. I have been doing this amount for almost six weeks. I decided that 2009 was my year to get super healthy so I went to a doctor that specializes in anti-aging. He ran a whole gammet of tests. I will get my results this Monday. In the tests that did come back already (about a week after they were taken) is where the vit. D results came from. That result had really surprised me because I had been taking 4000 iu since the beginning of Jan/09. So I agree that it does take along time to get your levels back to a normal level.

Hello I am from Calgary as well and would love to meet other lapbanders from this area. I know that the previous post in this discussion was from almost a year to the day ago but hopefully there will be some responses'. I was banded at the OCC on June 24 of this year.
