  1. I am having the same issue. I have a 4cc band, but my fill is currently at 4.60 cc so I'm panicing that if I don't find my so called "sweet spot" soon, it will be over for me. I am finding that I still have to pay a lot of attention to how the food feels going down. Try to stop the second you feel that first signal of full. It doesn't really feel like "full" to me. I appreciated the explanation as to what restriction really means, because I struggle with that too. When I got the band I was under the impression I would have automatic restriction, would take 3 bites and literally would not be able to fit anymore food in. Yeah, it doesn't work like that for me. You may need a fill though, you can't go totally by what the Dr. thinks. They told me at my first fill of 1.5 cc's that I was done and I could eat a horse. Hang in there and let us know what happens.
  2. Count me in too! I need some accountability.
  3. I see a lapband surgeon and he looked kind of puzzled yesterday. He told me that I should be getting tons of restriction. We'll see. He even questioned that maybe I have a different size band and don't know it. I think if this time I don't the restriction then I will fly back down to TJ and do it under fluro. I'm glad to hear that you guys have heard of some people going higher than the 4cc point. I guess I'm just so worried because if I don't finally get some good restriction there is not a whole lot more I can do. I'll let you know in a couple of days when I try solids how it goes. Thanks so much for the responses. Makes me feel better.
  4. I just got my 4th fill today. I have a 4cc band and I'm now at 4.6cc. I'm kind of freaking out. Has anyone else heard of having your band so full? I'm hoping this works and I get some restriction. I got my band 6 months ago yesterday and I feel like I still have so so much to learn. Advice please!
