Thanks for all the great advice. I think I will have to get to the bottom of eating (emotional) for sure. It is hard to comprehend that after the banding I can still eat what ever I want. I just assumed it would fix everything. I did my research and know it just an aid but I fooled myself into thinking that once I was banded I would start loosing weight very easily. I am so glad I have this forum and everyone is so kind. I am going to Goggle overeater anonymous and start trying to figure things out. Thanks again to all who responded. T

I was banded on Oct 13th and did the liquid diet until 1 week ago. For the last week I am back to my old eating habits. I eat until I am stuffed and uncomfortable. Every new day I say I will do better today but keep falling off the wagon. I don't know what to do. I am very depressed and angry with myself. I know its the wrong thing to do, but cant seem to stop my self. Help please. :lb12:

OK so I scheduled my first fill on Dec 3rd. I was banded on Oct 13th. So far I am slow to loose the lbs. I am hoping it will be better with my fill. Heres hoping. T

I glad to hear that someone other than me had pain. I kept thinking I was a woose because like you said no one talked about pain. I was banded on the 13th and still have port pain at times. I do remember meeting Dr. Ortiz and believe me he is every bit as handsome as people say.

I just got banded on the 13th and stayed at the Marriott. I was by myself and very nervous. Everything went fantastic from the drivers to the doctors to the nurses to the hotel staff, they could not of been more helpful and professional. You are in great hands and nothing to worry about. I also meat people the morning of surgery at the hotel lobby. Everyone was brilliant. Good luck and best wishes it will be over before you realize it.

Well everyone I am flying this evening to Mexico and having my lap band surgery tomorrow. I am very excited and nervous at the same time. Any last minute advice?

I just tryed emailing the dentist at the OCC and received an email saying it is closed permanently. Any one have any other suggestions on Dentists near there.?

Has any one filed for state disability while recovering from their lap band. Is this even possible?? Thanks :-? Because of my job(losts of heavy lifting) I will have to take about 4 weeks off.
