  1. Thanks for the replies! I really would like to do this, I think that it will help kickstart some weightloss. I have been stuck around 200 for some time now.
  2. just google adventure fitness boot camp and they have locations all over the country. They are pretty reasonable also.
  3. Will going to fitness bootcamp hurt my lapband. I am concerned about the situps mostly. My band slipped once before and I had to replace it. I do not want to go through that again but I really would like to join this program. Any thoughts?
  4. Thanks for all of your support. It just makes me nervous alot. I will be glad to go back to TJ in a week or so to have a fill and have them look at it.Good Luck to all of you!
  5. I got sick during the summer and I was given medicine that made me vomit. By the time I figured out that there was a problem, the slippage was too much to fix. The doctor said that this was rare and I had to wait 6 months to heal. You should not be too concerned. The Lapband is the best thing that has happened to me. It is a tool that works for my lifestyle and eating issues. I am sure that you will do fine. I am just nervous.
  6. Yes it did. I did not have a problem for about six months and I lost 63 pounds. I was VERY HAPPY with my band. It broke my heart to have it out. I regained 55 pounds and have been rebanded. I do not think that I will have more complications but I am just really nervous.
  7. IS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE THAT HAS BEEN REBANDED? I WAS REBANDED 04-01-08 AND AM VERY NERVOUS ABOUT SLIPPAGE. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY "BAD" EATING EXPERIENCES BUT I LIVE IN CONSTANT FEAR OF ANOTHER PROBLEM. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE WAS GOING THRU THIS ALSO. :unsure
  8. I am a little late into this conversation but I am from Enterprise, Florida. I was banded on 11-17-06. I believe that I am ready for a fill soon. Is everyone going back to TJ for a fill or is there somewhere in Florida that any of you know of?
  9. Terri, How is your port site doing? I am having some issues now. I can feel my port just under my skin. I have emailed for assistance but am a little nervous. I don't want to do anything wrong. How is your post op diet? It doesn't seem so bad to me but we still have a ways to go. I hope that all is well and hope to talk to you soon.
  10. Terri- I know it's tough but don't give up. Only a couple of more days and we will be in TJ. I met a lady last week that has a lapband and she has lost 108 pounds. It really gave me hope. I am sorry that I haven't emailed I have been out of town for a few weeks. See you in 3 days!
  11. I am coming from the Orlando area.Where are you located? Dr. Miranda just emailed me the preop diet so I guess that it is time to get down to it. I am really excited and I cannot wait to get banded! A friend of mine had to have gastric bypass surgery for a medical condition and she says that it is really not that difficult to adapt. I just keep telling myself that skinny will taste better than anything that I put in my mouth! 14 days and counting!
  12. I am scheduled for the 17th also. I am on the same page as you. I am eating everything in sight . I'm glad that I'm not alone and the book says that it is normal. I gave myself 2 more days and then I have to stopeating! The shakes once a day are a good idea.
