  1. It's been awhile, just wondering how your doing??

  2. You are doing awesome! I couldn't even do the 3 days of liquids they asked me to do after my first fill! I finally understand what wonderland is after my second fill. So excited to lose this weight!!! Woohoo!
  3. Why do you believe your too tight? I am at 8ccs and I have not pb'd or had any pain but I have not eaten very much at all. I would say around 1/2 a cup of food for each meal sometimes a little more and sometimes less, but I can eat rice, bread, pasta anything I just don't eat very much of it and I chew FOREVER!! It is weird because i don;t fell like I am stuffed or that my pouch is full either, I am just done after a certain point. It is really odd not what I expected. I think I am one of the lucky ones who got where i need to be pretty fast considering my surgery was in May.
  4. You need to get creative, once you can have creamy soups life will be much easier. I will tell you what got me through ws a balck bean bisque it is an organic boxed soup. I would put spicy cheese in it and melt it. mmmmmmm so good and really helped with my "food" cravings. You will get through it. Some people have no problem and others are chewing and spitting it out just to feel like they have eaten something solid. Which I have done on a few occasions Hang in there and look up some ideas others have had for the liquid phase there are some great ideas hiding within this forum.
  5. Oh I forgot I am not on liquids I ate solid food right there in the office afte rmy fill.
  6. We got our fill on the same day!
  7. Just had my second fill and it seems perfect! 8 cc's and ready to roll Restriction seems perfect, I am chewing like crazy and eating 3 very small meals! Now if I could get my butt to exercise every day I would be perfect! I finally get to start really losing this weight! woohoo! Dr. SO was awesome and really spent some time with me to get it right, so happy with them.
  8. I have 8 ccs in a 11 cc band. 2 fills both done at the OCC and I have restriction. I ate real food afte rmy fill and the Dr.then waited 10 min after the fill and looked under floro again to make sure everything went down. OCC is awesome!! They really know what they are doing!
  9. I have had hypothyroidism for several years, my levels are constantly off and the weight will come off just fine if your levels are somewhat balanced and you are not eating too much. I think with the condition it is hard because if your levels are off you feel tired and feel as if you need energy and food = energy...right? :)It will work fine many people have severe hypothyroidism and can lose weight.
  10. I was just there in May and it was fine. I did not go anywhere though, it was not worth it to me to even put myself in any kind of position. It was fine and I feel safe as long as I am in the OCC, Marriot or shuttle. Here is the advise I have for you..... bring powdered broth!!! The chicken broth they give you at the MaRRIOT IS SO GROSS!! It is seriously the juice in the bottom of the pan after cooking a chicken. YUCK it made me hate broth forever! lol
  11. Well I decided not to stay. My appt. is at 9:30 and my flight leaves at 5:30 pm. Enough time for me to eat something before I leave. I would rather have the OCC do my fill as no one around me does fills with Flouroscopy (sp?) If I need to be unfilled I will go to a fill center. I am crossing my fingers that all goes great and I end up lucky with perfect restriction. Thanks for all of the advice.
  12. I will be down there on 7/27 for my second fill! Hoping it puts me right where I need to be.
  13. I am heading down for my second fill 3rd week in July, It is not easy to spend the night there because I have 3 kids and a husband who can not take off of work right now as he is starting a new job on the 6th of July. I had 5cc put in about 2 weeks ago and I have no restriction at all. I can get to the occ by 9:30 am for one of the first fill appts and hang out there all day, then catch a plane out at like 9pm. I should be able to have a small breakfast and late lunch at OCC. Do you think that will be good enough? Or do I have to stay the night? Any advice would be appreciated. I keep going back and forth and I am driving myself crazy!
