Just went to Fill Center USA in Cooper City. Fla - would not recommend. First let me say I have been banded since 2006 and have had years of experience as a bandster so this wasn't my first experience with a fill but relocated to Fla a few years ago. I drove an hour to this location and could not find it as I was looking for a Dr's or medical office. Turned out to be a retail shop "Dr's Weight Loss Center" in a strip mall selling expensive vitamins and supplements with 2 "examination rooms" in the back. No where was there any "Fill Center USA" logo on window, business cards or brochures. Perhaps "affiliated with" would have been sufficient but I saw none. Yes there is a Dr. on site, but he left the needle in too long (while chatting with me) and seemed a little inexperienced. The fill costs $300 (Ortiz patient discount)and I had to pay over the phone before the appt. to the main center (866 phone number) in Arizona not the fill center facility directly. I have heard good things about the fill center in St. Pete, Fla so I am only going by my experience at this facility. My peronal recommendation for a fill in South Florida area would to find Bariatric Dr's office that takes Mex patients and pay a little extra if needed. You shouldn't need a fill that often after awhile so it should be worth it. I have done this also but wanted to save a little money, lesson learned. Hope this helps.
