    I was banded in January 4, 2007. I lost weight quicker in the beginning, 25 pounds total so far. I am at a plateau. I am going for my 3rd fill next Saturday. What a difference 25 pounds has made. I'd like to lose 10 more pounds then lose the last 10 at my pace. The whole experiece was awesome!!!! Audree

    I have my fill appointment on Wednesday morning. I am driving and will arrive about 10:30am. What is the fastest way to get from parking at the border to OCC? Can I just walk over and catch a taxi? I have zero restriction and can eat anything. I am hoping for some restriction!! Audree

    I am driving to OCC from Rancho Cucamonga this Wednesday. I see a lot of info on how to get to OCC from the airport but what about from the San Ysidro parking structure. I got an email from Rene saying Mexicoach can pick you up from there?? So, does Mexicoach take you straight to the clinic and back? How much does it cost? Or if you walk across the border can you just hop on a taxi straight to OCC?? Thanks,Audree

    I am so nervous. I know it is just of the unknown, because all I have heard are awesome thins about Dr. Ortiz. So many people I have talked to have been banded, even my close friend from high school was banded by him last year and everyone is a happy camper. I want to be one too! I just don't know why I am so nervous. I have a high pain threshold. Maybe because I have to change my whole way of eating and I am hoping that educating myself all this time got into my head. I don't want to pb!!! Audree

    I take a Cod liver oil pill and a liquid vitamin that has Omega 3,6 and 9. I read on another forum that they can thin my blood and I should not take them. Can you please let me know if this is true? I did read I couldn't have aspirin, but that was it. Thanks, Audree

    Hello! I am considering a December date. Why are there not many in December? It I can't get the date in December, I will schedule in January. Dr. Ortiz sounds like he has a lot of happy clients out there. I have not heard anything bad. Only one person that said she only lost 7 pounds in one year, but if you go back for fills, how can you only lose 7 pounds? Audree
