I would like to know if anyone has had this operation and had there insurance company pay for it.

I have been reading about alot of things that can happen but the one thing that seems to be the worst is the gas. Does this ever go away? Just how bad is it? Sounds like you cant go to many places with this type of side affects.

I'm thinking of this type of operation because im really over weight and its hard for me to walk now, plus im on all kinds of meds! I have not read about the pain of discomfort during and after the operation, there has to be some kind of pain.
