I am from Australia and had a slipped band replaced straight away, and I do know quite a few ppl whose band was replaced straight away meaning one operation, old one out the new in. Can't understand why you would need to wait.

A lot of reflux is one of the signs, also a blockage after say half to an hour finishing a meal. The feeling of the food just hanging around the pouch without going down (not blocking) and also a lot of heartburn.
