So I have been reading thru many of the post both here and on other sites. I was wondering what was the time frame between making the decision to have the surgery and then when your surgery is scheduled. Are we talking weeks or months? I was also wondering from y'all what was required for you in terms of pre-op stateside? How did your promary care doctors feel about you having the procedure? Thanks, outdoorgrl

I am happy to find this site. I have been thinking about the lap band for almost 2 years. My insurance will not cover it, so I have been thinknig about paying for it on my own. I have heard some scary things about surgery in countries outside of the United States. Has anyone else had these concerns? Is there anyone willing to provide some guidence?
