I am going to try very hard not to sound like I'm whining, but I'm very frustrated. I was banded at the end of July and so far have lost 20 pounds. I've had 3 fills, none of which have given me the restriction I was hoping for. I am just wanting to know if this is normal. I'm getting to the point that I feel I paid 10K to lose 20 lbs. I've changed my eating habits and walk every other day. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and need some encouragement. I was banded on 7-26 and have not lost any weight yet. In fact, I came back after my surgery 3 lbs more than when I left. I am on my liquid diet, slim fast and soup, but I am starving and getting discouraged. I know it takes time, but I need some encouraging words to get thru this first slump. I appreciate any words of wisdom from the "old pros" lol. Thanks and take care.
