arlenob83 Posted November 6, 2011 Report Share Posted November 6, 2011 Oliviam, I am getting plication in 6 days -- I have been trying to get pregnant since February and recently "stopped" trying (aka using contraceptives) since I scheduled my surgery date for November 11. I have read on other websites that you should wait 12-18 months before getting pregnant after bariatric surgery. I had NEVER heard that before. I was pleased to see that you are 5 weeks pregnant at 2 months post surgery. How is your pregnancy going? Any suggestions for those of us who would like to get pregnant after plication? Suggestions for getting the nutrition your baby needs, etc? I would LOVE any words of wisdom you have or things you have learned along the way!
