6 months post-op from gastric sleeve – down 83 lbs!

Hey everyone, I'm new here and just wanted to share a bit about my journey so far. I had gastric sleeve surgery with Renew Bariatrics in Tijuana about 6 months ago, and honestly, it’s been life-changing.

Before the surgery, I was at my heaviest — around 297 lbs. I was constantly tired, struggled with joint pain, and felt pretty hopeless about losing weight on my own after trying everything. Now, I'm down to 214 lbs and still working towards my goal weight. The recovery process had its ups and downs, but overall, it’s been manageable, especially with the support from the clinic and other people going through the same thing.

I’m here to connect, learn more about post-op care, and hopefully help or get help when needed. Anyone else here around the same post-op timeline?
