Guest CaraMBA09 Posted August 10, 2008 Report Share Posted August 10, 2008 2/3 cup butter 2/3 cup flour 7 cups milk (could use soy or FF) 4 large baking potatos, baked, peeled and cubed (about 4 cups) 4 green onions sliced or chopped 12 bacon strips (OR turkey bacon) - cooked and crumbled (maybe eliminate this if our tummies dont like) 1 1/4 c shredded FF cheddar cheese 1 c. FF (8 oz.) sour cream 3/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper In large kettle or Dutch oven, melt the butter. Stir in the flour; heat and stir unitl smooth. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add potatoes and onions. Bring to a slow boil stirring constantly, immediately reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
