1st Fill

Hi everyone-

I was banded on August 22, 2008 and got my first fill toady. Can anyone give me any feedback on how it should feel? I think I could feel when the saline was injected (3cc, I was completely empty before) I felt a little squeeze and now nothing. It didn’t stop me from eating lunch or anything... Is this normal?

I guess what I am saying is taht Idont feel any restriction. Is this normal?

First fill can be very disappointing. It took me maybe 4-6 days to fell the slightest bit of restriction, that lasted maybe 2 weeks and then nothing. This is more the norm. I think people think the first fill will make a difference and from what I have read it's the exception to get good or any restriction on the first fill. give it some days though and you might be surprised.

Mrs. Smoother, you may have some restriction when on solids...but I think by the time your two week follow up appointment, you may need another.
