Hi, my name is Amanda 29 yrs old and I live in Beebe, AR. I am a single mom to a wonderful 9 year old boy (when I don't want to tie him up by his toes ). I was banded on March 5, 2008. I would suggest it to anyone who is having trouble losing weight. I am a Medical Support Assistant at a medical hospital. We are very lucky that we are on the Arkansas River and have a wonderful place to walk. I have made my mom and her friend start walking with me at lunch here. I am hoping to start water arobics soon. Cross stitching and reading are my favorite hobbies. Since having my surgery I have so much energy. Instead of going home and vegging out, I am constantly up doing things. My son has been so helpful. I am hoping to be able to better help him loose weight. I have taught him some bad habits over the years. I know boys are suppose to eat more, but he snacks to much.
