I had my surgery on Jan 2. I was so excited and nervous. The staff at OCC were wonderful everything went very fast. From the time I got there from going into surgery. They were great. I can say I was in little to no pain while I was in at the surgery center. Once I left I was a little uncomfortable but that didn't last very long. We got back to the hotel the following morning and rested. Today we returned home and other than feeling a little gassy I feel great. I am able to eat or I should say slowly drink about 1/2 cup of broth at a time then I get up and walk and I am pretty much full I am so happy that I did this I m just looking forward to what is to come.

Start weight 161

Surgery weight 151

I will weight myself once a week to see where I am!!!!

I'll keep you posted. I you have any questions please feel free to ask.

That is fantastic! So glad you had a great experience. I have my sleeve done on Jan. 14 and I wished I could leave tomorrow. Very excited. Keep us posted on your progress.

I know exactly how you feel I was so excited before leaving. Today is day 4 and I am going great I still feel like I have to burp when I drink something I think I just have to get used to sipping instead of actually drinking even water. But when I feel like this I just get up and walk around then I feel better. I haven't had pain which I am so glad. The first week is clear liquids but about day 4 I can add protein (liquids) so I will see how I can manage to get 30 g of protein today...... Wish me luck. I don't even think I am able to drink a full 20 oz bottle of water yet. Take care.....
