Thank you so much do you know if we can take a cab there or is that safe? Thank you both so much for the replies. My husband has never seen ocean so I would like him to if we have a chance. I just want to be sure it is safe.

Hi Good Luck to you both I hope to see you there. It will be nice having people in the same situation to talk to. I have also researched for about 2 years and have read doctors book. It's exciting and scary all at the same time. Are you to planning on sight seeing or just hanging around hotel? My husband and I would like to go to Rosarita beach but are a little nervous. Do you know of anyone who has done this? Well hope to talk to you all again soon. Best of luck again.

Hi I am Queenie going to be banded on March 27 was very excited still am I guess but also starting to get nervous. Anyone else there this day. My husband is coming with me thank goodness. Also has anyone else traveled to ocean while in Tiajuana. My husband and I thought about going to Rosarita to see beaches. Will be starting preop diet soon. I am going to miss food. Does anyone else feel this way? I have used food to cheer me up and make my day for a long time, it is kind of scary. But I am excited about a new me and a better life. Anyway hope to see some of you there.

Can anyone tell me how far away is Rosarita beach? My husband and I would like to go there for the day. Do you take a cab or what kind of transportation is there? Thanks for any help my husband has never seen an ocean so we really would like to do this.

The new year is off to a good start. January is behind us now and February is here. There's been a lot of excitement around the OCC with Cassie being on the Oprah show (scheduled for airing on Monday Feb 4th) and with spring coming, everyone is thinking of their health. As you can see here at the forum, patients are talking about their up coming surgeries in February. But,, where's the March patients??? Lets see if we can bring March in like a lion and go out like a lion. So,, come on March patients,,, where you at?

Hi I am scheduled with Dr Ortiz on March27 I am so excited. I am from Matherville Illinois so I can't wait to go to Mexico and meet everyone. Dr. Ortiz and staff have been great. I purchased Doctors book and it is very helpful. My family learned a lot too. Anyway if anyone is scheduled this day let me know. Also a special thanks to Lori on Dr's staff she is great I have bothered her many times.
