Hi TheRedHead, I was just wondering, did you tell US Customs that you were going to MX for surgery? I have had a few wierd experiences with Customs and was just wondering. Thanks!

Hi Allcdngirl I am in Vancouver as well! I am being banded on April 21 and will be going by myself. From everything I have heard on this forum, I don't think there is anything to worry about. My biggest fear is the surgery itself, will be glad when I wake up and it is all over and done with. I'll let you know how it goes. We should start a Dr. Ortiz support group in Vancouver

Hi Bjansert, I will be banded on April 21 as well ! I will be travelling alone as we don't have anyone to watch our girls. I am starting a liquid diet 1 week prior to the surgery and plan to use Slimfast as I cannot find Optifast near us. I look forward to meeting you and your friend! Cheers!

Hi All, I am all set for my big day on April 21 and wondering who else may be joining me in TJ?? I am a little nervous about the surgery itself, I have a few panic attacks thinking if somehting were to happen, I would never see my DH or beautiful girls again.
