So after your wife was banded, did you find it helpful in keeping with the diet?

My husband and I are getting banded on May 19th. I am just wondering if any one else and their significant other had it done on the same day?

I'm already kind of nervous about the surgery and complications, but add on my husband having surgery too. OMG!! I am hoping that since we are doing this together we will be supportive of each other in regards to the huge diet and lifestyle change. My worst fear is we will be wanting to kill each other because we are hungry and moody
