I personally take the 5000 Biotin, one cap once a day. I have'nt lost any hair. The only time I ever remeber losing hair was after my girls were born. I've been on a million diets and my hair's never fallen out. I wasn't willing to find out though, so I started the Biotin ahead of time. I never heard of the shampoo....
Ok thank you!

thanks everyone.

GNC Women's Hair, Skin & Nails Formula...
has anyone heard of it? it has 3000 mcg of biotin
Then there is biotin - sitting right next to it.
One has 2500 mcg and one has 5000 mcg
I am not sure if one brand is better than the other - I mean obviously - the 5000 is probably the best.
But also - I has a question after reading Alana's message - I went to my local mall - and looked for a shampoo with Biotin in it. I found some on the internet - but I wanted to see if I had it closer.... Anyway
I was told the salon had nothing with Biotin IN it.. but they had a product for thinning hair - and/or hair loss. NIOXIN - It has BioAmp - She told me it had great reviews. and I was just wondering if anyone has tried it/heard of it.
Or possibly something better than that.
Thanks everyone!!

Hey -
Thanks for posting this
It really helps me get an idea of how much I will be eating..
Now is there anything that you simply CAN NOT eat?
-
I will be at the OCC June 19th - 22nd & I will be having my band surgery on June 20th. (the day before my birthday)
-
I know everyone is different - but could I ask you for a sample of what you eat on an average day?
It is hard to know until you are there - and right now - I am not there yet - just wondering.
-
thats true!
I am thankful that I am able to get my band at all!
-
Well... I had some issues with the personal loan that I got to fund my band surgery - and now I will not recieve it until the 29th of May!! AND my previous date was the 27th!
So needless to say - I called the OCC and had my date changed.
I am feeling depressed about that - I was so excited and anxious for my band surgery.
I am still excited - but just a little sad also.
ANYWAY I guess I gotta cheer up! My surgery date is on June 20th!
Anyone else going to be at the OCC June 19-22??
-
Does anyone know a fill doctor in PA?
I am planning on going to the OCC for my first fill - but after that - i will most likely be looking in PA
Thanks
-
Is there a pool?? I went on the website and could not see a pool.
Hey - I will be there the same date as you! I am looking for the hotel web address, and I found 2 - I am not sure which one is correct
could you give me the one you are looking at?
Thanks
-

Hi, I am just wondering if anyone has heard of a product called "Powder Butter"
I found it on www.myhealthmyworld.com
They sell it in 16oz. containers - It is suppost to be a powdered peanut butter protein shake mix. I am just wondering if anyone has seen/tried this before. Or if anyone had a suggestion for peanut butter flavored drinks.
I am still pre-op but I am trying to do all the shopping now so I can try different things, and see what I like.
My surgery date is on the 27th of May!! I am so excited. SO PLEASE if anyone has any tips - or advise, let me know!
Thank You

:-h Hi Everyone!
I will be arriving on May 26th for my surgery on the 27th!!!
-
I was concerned about having my surgery on the 28th and having to fly out in the middle of the night on the 29th(early morn. of the 30th) so I changed my date to the 27th. By only being there 1 1/2 nights scared me and I feel better if I'm there 2 full nights after the surgery. So now I will get there in the morning of the 27th for the pre-op stuff and then have my surgery.
Sue

I have an appointment for May 27th!!
Starting my diet now.. to lose those 'pre-op' pounds!!
Coffee Flavored Protein Shake
in Diet and Nutrition
Posted
So - I have started on my pre-op diet today.
I decided that I am going to do 2 shakes a day. One in the morning - and one for dinner or snack.
For the morning one - it is going to be a coffee flavored shake.. So I used:
Skim Milk: 8oz
EAS Vanilla Protein Powder: 1 scoop
Cappuccino Mix (SF/FF/Low Cal): 1 tbsp
Instant Decaf Coffee: 1 tbsp
Caramel Syrup (SF): 1 tbsp
I mixed everything in my new drink mixer (hamilton beach - on the go) and let the froth settle down. I tried it.. It was great! I loved it.
I bought everything at walmart... It was all pretty inexpensive
I hope these days before surgery fly by... and I hope I can lose this pre-op weight.
If you have any shake ideas - please let me know!! Thanks
