Hi Vicki I had my surgery July 8th My name is Amy Did I see you there? I am starting to feel like a normal human today, finally. How are you feeling?

You may have....not sure. There were a lot of people there. It's the 11th, and I am back at the OCC.....had a lot of nausea and PBing, so I came back to get it checked out before I fly out tomorrow. They are so good here, and are making sure that I am taken care of. Just a lot of inflammation causing nausea, so they are treating me to take the inflammation down, and I am feeling much better now. Hope everything is going well for you!!

Congrats on the 20lbs!

I've lost 15 and am getting nervous about surgery. This worst thing is that I have to leave my little guy at home. I've never been away from him one night let alone 4!

He is such a cutie!!!! I would have a hard time leaving him, too. I am sad to leave my 5 and 8 year old home with relatives, too.....

Congrats on the 15 lbs! Good job. I will see you there!

Okay you girls scheduled for the 9th and 10th....we only have a few days to go!!! How's everyone doing on their preop diets? I can't believe I just hit 20 lbs! I keep having dreams that I get the band, and then I can't lose anything!!!

I eat Special K bars. They come in Strawberry, Double Chocolate, Chocolate & Peanut Butter. They all taste pretty good...at least I like them. They are 15 grams of protein and 190 calories each. They are meal bars.

I am getting banded on July 9th in TJ at the OCC. I will need my first flouro fill sometime in August and was planning to go to the girls in Arlington. I live in Bellingham. Someone also stated that the fill gals are thinking of doing fills in Blaine???? Wow, this would be unbelievably perfect for me!! Please let me know if any of you WA or Cndn gals will be needing a fill in mid August in Arlington...maybe we can schedule a get-together!!

Okay all of you....I haven't even got banded yet, and I'm already excited for Band Camp!! I vote for Vegas...but could do San Diego if that's where it ended up being. I'm getting banded at the OCC on July 9th. It's coming soon....and I'll officially be a bandster! I would love to meet some of you, so the get-together sounds like fun.

I am doing my research to get lapband surgery in Mexico. I am trying to find a fill doctor near Whatcom County, WA. Who do you use in Arlington? And what are the fees like? Any info you could give me would be great. It would be great to hear about your experience.
