I kind of lost faith for a while (after my first Op failed) - but I'm back on the wagon now. I really want to get the next fill under X-ray. I think this will give me some peace of mind that all is ok.

Some times i feel i can eat far too much for having a Band fitted, other times if i maybe eat too quickly, without thinking, my food gets stuck and can feel very uncomfortable. I'm just a bit confused ( maybe worried ) that it's not working right.

Just to clarify, yeah I probably do need a fill and should not consider the Xenical. I think I’m just about there with the food restriction, and my food choices are reasonably good too.

I was on Xenical before by Band op - And yes I suffered all those dreaded side effects ( I basically eat too much fat in my diet and boy did I suffer !) The reason I was asking is that I’m struggling to finance the fills at the moment ( loooong disaster story with my first Band and the aftercare package). I had a few packets of Xenical left over and as my diet has now improved, I thought I could use them up to maximum effect , just until I can get than band filled again.

I'm trying to find out whether it is safe to take Xenical with a band fitted. Can it damage the band ?
