Hello. So I guess my self and mine friend are w/o a fill doctor smh. Some1 told me that thers a place in Vancouver but I never look in to it. There are two places in Toronto . Mine buddy who went thru Toronto with his lab band is tryin to get his doctor to do the fills up here in G.P. But I haven't hear any thin yet. Gdm.ev1 Reading all that makes me wounder. I was sure I be goin down to TJ for mine #1 but now I think I look around to find a dr.bit closer. A friend of mine was band in TOronto ($18000.00) and they provide him with a CD for his fam.dr. To lern how to do fills. I hope that his dr.lern and is willing to take on another two bandsters if not than gotta travel to Calgary....btw did any1 use dr. Mitchell or the other dr.in calgary please let me know . Hey ev1. Just a week ago I was 70 cigaretts a day guy sometimes more. I never thought that I be able to quit smoking ever! Gues what I'm smoke free for a week now I even got a no smoking rm @ the hotel(working out of town) it is posible to quit if I was able to do it than ev1 could. I got help CHAMPIX I belive that's the name I don't have it on me it works like charm . Its a 12weeks program 2 small pils a day that's all u have to do take them. The best part I notice that...... mine clothing mine truck and mine rm don't smell like ashtray any more and I can go to a gym right after work and not smell like one. And the 600plus loonies that I save every month now well.....21ft larson fam boat looks like a awsome reward for quiting smoking . So if thinking bout quitin smoking why not do it today its a perfect day to stop killing you self! Have a nice day :)Marek

Yes I went thru same last week I end up using mine Mc and I got cet ck . Pay pal told me 8 to 10 days I totaly wasn't awere that it takes so long oh yes I did call OCC but they didn't want to take mine visa or mc . I hope that you resolve the issue and make it to Tj

No one decline me in Toronto or TJ so when you said they told you did you mean friends pepele you talked to or actual doctors? Call OCC and chat with them that what I did and they work with me

...So I told my coworker bout mine up coming lap band op.on oct 7th. Well I wld never suspect such low n dumb replay from a guy who's in the med profesion for the last 20+ years. #1 lab band will take 10 years of your life idk where he got that from ("good thing that his smoking makes him young" btw I'm smoke free for a few days now and wld never go back to it!!)#2 I told him that mine op is in Tj Mex....I better not post what he said to that smh but I'm sure you can imagine. All I wanted to say to him was...good thing that stupidity can't fly cuz otherwise he be up in the sky like bunch of balloons.

There is a topic open right now about "thinking thin". I really believe in this can help get me to where I need to be. BUT what do you do when a skinny person unknowingly makes you look at reality?? How do we overcome this and not fall into old habits of sabotage?

I have been thinking skinny and feel so good about myself right now. I have several positive things happening:

Today I am wearing my fat skirt that I was previously too fat for.

Scales are going

hired a personal trainer

counting calories and using the daily plate

all of my clothes are getting longer, yes I did mean longer

My waist went from 38 to 36

In my mind, I am doing wonderful.... look at me.... can't you see????????

Here comes skinny person and wants to take my blood pressure. She says " I can't use the normal cuff, your arms are too big". My heart sinks and I want to cry right there on the spot. I see that I am living in my own skinny world by myself..... ouch. At least my blood pressure was 116/74 and I had lost 19 pounds since last time visiting that Dr. office.

I really can not wait until that skinny girl just puts the skinny cuff on my arm without hesitation......

She meant no harm to me and was clueless about my state of mind. She was just being practical.

I am keeping my head up high and keep thinking..... won't be long til I can wear that size 12. Would a size 12 mean a skinny BP cuff too?

Nicorett gum YUCK I rhather chew on mine work boots lol I know I have to quit just don't know how yet....maybe I just go to sleep for the next 14 days since I don't have to do any pre op diet

I'm on the patch n champix for a week now n it seems like I didn't even slow down with mine smoking. If I don't quit in the next 3 days I may as well say bye bye to the band . Any ideas?

Pills weren't a problem .We cut them up or crushed them to make it easier to swallow. Hello. If you not to far from Grande Prairie Alberta than we do have a doctor who knows how to do the fills . Good luck n contact me if you need any more info....btw its
