  2. I would think ellyptical would be the same as a treadmill.

    how are you feeling?

Hi CindyLou, That's what I was thinking.. i'll try it.

I'm feeling A LOT better today. The flight home was horrible and Monday I was tired but today is good. I haven't had a chance to walk a lot since Monday cuz I've had to work from home and take care of my little ones but no lifting it's been a little difficult but I plan to start a regular routine tomorrow but I don't want to push it so I'll walk for an hour or so and see how I feel.

I have only ate WW popsicles I can't stomach the broth since we left TJ just makes me gag.

How are you feeling? Have you tried the yogurt? Did you see Janine's email... kinda sounds like how you were feeling on Friday.

  3. Hi Amanda,

That totally sux!!!! The pain you are describing is probably the gas. Stick with the GasX and keep up the walking.I love water too but I don't think it will feel very good if you chug it.

I was banded on Thursday and flew out of San Diego on Sunday and I felt horrible that day.

Hang in there!!!!!! RE the advil, I'm not totally positive but unless it's liquid tyleonl I wouldn't take it. The other bandsters might know better then me tho!!

    Good luck to ya!

  4. So far today has been the hardest!!! I didn't think it would be this hard. I'm starving and sick of broth. Do you think I could stick to vitamins and water. I can't seem to swallow the broth anymore. I just don't want to get to weak.

Jazzy - I was at the whitening from 9-12 she cleaned my teeth too. My husband fell asleep in the chair next to me.. kinda funny. The dentist didn't seem to mind, she actually giggled about it. sorry I missed you!!!!

  5. Hello - I just had the surgery done. I like the staff here alot. the nurse that helpme with the IV and DrOrtiz and of course Dr Feelgood. Feeling a little grorry still but trying to get back to the hotel so I can meet up with everyone. I was starting to get really nervous and the begining but Someone with Stacy came in and reassured me everything will go GREAT - Thank you for that cuz I didn't question it again. Talk to everyone later when I can see a little clearer :)

    FINALLY BANDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):):):)

  7. Hey guys it is now areound 6:30 and I am back at the hotel. I did have to go have the test which everthing turned out fine. I was getting motioin sick from walking. I was released around 9:00 this mornign which i went and had Zoom Whiting and OMG SOOOOOOO well worth it. I have had aboslutly no pain or senativity. However a lady had it the day before me and was in severe pain. I guess it is just the individual. I do have alot of gas pains and have had some sholder pains too. I suggest WALk WALK WALk as much as you possible can. The staff is WONDERFUL. I remember reading a post were someone said they did not even see a nurse during the night. Well i am here to tell you, with the complication that I had with my sickness, both the Doctor and nurse was with me the whole night. The gave me a meidcal alert button just in case I needed them. I would have to say the most th biggest impression that I had beside Dr. Martinez which was WONDERFUL, was the anithisoligist. however you spell it. His name is Dr. Lois which I nicknames =him Dr. Feel Good. I asked him if he would be with me the whole time and his ressonse was this. He asked me if I have ever had a stalker and I told him no. He said well you do now. He told me that I was the most important person in his life for the next 50 mins. That Impressed me soooooo much, tnis is a stament that you will never forget. The whole entire staff at the OCC is absolute wonderfull. I can honestly say that I am glad that my insurance did not pay for my sugery, bacause I can promise you, you would never get the same treatment in the states!!!!

I wil be back home tomorrow and I will try to post all of my pics Monday for everyone to see!

Thank you for sharing, Dr Feelgood's statement is definately comforting. I'll be there next week. How long does the Zoom take? I'm having it done on Sat at 9:30.
