Hi,
I had surgey on December 2, 2008 and I also had an extremely long flight back to Pittsburgh PA. My flight left at 1:45pm from SanDiego and landed in PGH at 12 midnight. You will not be able to bring in mixes thru the airport . So plan to purchase some Gatoaide or something. I was alos able to find Broth at the airport. I ordered soup and as the lady to give me only broth. I was only able to take in a few sips but it made me feel better to be eating and sipping with others. Make sure you have your gas-X with you. I had so much gas. That was the hardest part. As for the flight attendants, they have juice and water. Ask what your options are.
I personnally was afraid to take sleeping pill because I had to drive back from the airport. I had not been hungry at all since the surgery. I only have mental hunger pains. I must admit I am very surprised.

Reading these messages are very refreshing. Many people have look at me and said the exact same thing. While I may not have been as big as others, I still consider my self fairly big. I am 5'7 and I started at 225. The day of the surgery I weighted in at 218. I have always been able to lose a little, but I practically had to kill myself to get under 200. I want to get into a size ten, which will require me to lose about 60 more pounds. It is funny how people look at you and make a decision/judgement on weather you are fat enough. The sad part is, I am so paranoid about it that I have not shared my surgery with anyone other than my husband. SO THANK YOU! I needed to read this. As of today I am around 205 or 206. I am so excited!

No, I am not on face book, But wanted to see how things were going with you? Things are going well for me. I have lost about 15-18 pounds total, but I have regained my appetite and I am being to get concerned. I think my restriction are minimum and I am begining to count calories. I do not want this to be a failure, but my first fill is not scheduled until January 27-28, 2009. Are the KIDS better? Well, I justed wanted to keep in touch. Have a Merry Xmas
