Based on your post, I think it would also help if the parents will be educated or made understood of their child's situation. As a child, she may not really be aware of her situation. Since her parents are the ones who take care of her, they should do the necessary changes for her first even just with the food she eats... When the time comes that she has understood things about being obese and about weight loss procedures, then maybe she can undergo the surgery.

Has anyone had plastic surgery in Tijuana at a facility other than Cos Med? If so, how was the experience? What did you have done? What was the cost? I am considering having a LBL, and a BL in July. Anyone else thinking about taking the plunge? It would be nice to spend the week recovering with someone as I will be going alone.

What are the things you prefer in your medical trip to Tijuana? If you're going alone, I suggest you get an all-inclusive package. There are packages that would provide you with a personal assistant all throughout your trip. It would also be more convenient in your part because you wouldn't have to worry about your hotel, food, and transportation from the clinic to the hotel. I hope that helps.

Is it already an all-inclusive package?

I paid 4300 for a lift AND silicone implants. I am guessing a lift would be fairly inexpensive. I am 4 weeks out now and very happy. My left nipple is kind of off, but that is so typical, they are never perfect. I really liked Dr. Quiroz there, he personally called me like 5 times the first week to see how I was doing. Call and ask. They told me you have to stay 3 days before flying home with the breast surgery. They also said to have someone with you if you are staying in a hotel (as opposed to at a nursing place where they take care of you). I feel that I would have been fine alone though. Good luck! The swelling and tightness is awful for about 9 days and then I got better very quickly.

If you think its taking long for them to answer, go to other medical tourism companies who can help you much better and faster. Though you can still wait for their response and while you wait, try to explore on more possible options.

For those who are going to travel alone, I think it would be more convenient to purchase an all-inclusive package from medical tourism companies. As you will be going to a different place, especially the one you're not familiar with, it will be helpful if you go for this package. Most of this medical tourism companies provide the patient his/her own personal assistant who will accompany them all throughout their stay in the place. Some packages may differ from one another so choose what is most helpful for you.
