  1. You should receive an email confirmaion after registration and in the email confirmation there should be a link that you can click on right before the webinar is about to begin and an internet window will open allowing you to participate in the webinar.

I noticed that we are both from the KC area, just wondering about something. I received a card that said I can purchase childrens meals, have you had any issues becouse you are not under 12? Just curious. Im not anywhere near eating solid foods yet.

  3. Hi there. I had my first fill a few weeks ago and followed Dolittle's posting which worked out great.

    http://www.lapbandforum.com/index.php?showtopic=9919

I have an 11cc band as well. My first fill was 4ccs and the only difference I felt was uncomfortable pain in my chest if I ate to big a bite of food, or something dry. I go for a second fill the beginning of October. Don't worry about how much you should get. If your doing this under fluro, the doctor will be able to tell how the liquid they make you swallow is going through your system. Try not to stress about it. Discuss your concerns with your doctor and I'm sure he/she will be able to advise you. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

  4. Here is a great video from Dr. Acosta explaining why a fill under fluoroscopy is beneficial and how to tell if you have good restriction:

Lori, thank you four putting that web site on here. I won't be able to come to Occ four my first fill, and was glad to watch this i hope they do the 3 b's here where i am going. They do the fluoroscopy or i would not go there. Deb

  5. Hi TwistedSister (love your forum name :))

Our instructions stated to "arrive fasting on day of pre-ops/surgery (8-hour fast)". So I suppose if you were scheduled to get to the clinic at 8am, you could theoretically eat up until 12 midnight. We didn't eat the night before. The travel day was filled with a lot of drama (including luggage that didn't make it with us), and we were glad to get to the hotel and dive into our beds. All the best to you, and good luck on 8/13!!

Thanks my sister calls me that. :)

I'am having pre-ops the day of surgery. I guess my question should be can you have all foods or do you keep eating the pre-diet to the last day?

  6. Hello, I have been reading many of the posts here and I want to say thank you for all of the wonderful information. I am having surgery on 8/13, I am very excited and very nervous :o .

I have been having some bloating on the pre op diet, does anyone have any idea what might be the cause?

I have seen some post that describe people eating solid meals the night before surgery, will I be able to eat the night before surgery?

Any info or advice would be appreciated.
