Well I went shopping using the list you provided. Tried the tasty Spicy & Hot V8 Juice, I really like that. Also tried strawberry flavored applesauce. Mixing up the flavors really helps from getting too bored. My family offered to do the cooking but I'm afraid they will starve. I found that eating before I cook really helps. Can't wait for the solid phase but I'm proud of myself for staying away from the solids as of now.

Sounds Yummy! I will print the list out and go shopping tomorrow. I told my family I will not be cooking for them d/t the tempation of solid food. LOL! I will definately have to try your suggestions before I cook to help with the temptation.

Please Help!!!

I was banded 11 days ago 11/20. The first 6 days I was not hungry or thirsty at all. I ended up getting dehydrated, may have had a GI bug. Once I got IV fluids I felt sooo much better. Since then I have been starving. I had two small meals, yes SOLIDS and am so mad at myself. I'm afraid I messed up something though I feel fine. Not sure exactly what to do, so I promised my self I would start the post-op diet all over, in the event I streched my pouch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Seeing your transformation brought tears to my eyes, happy ones of course. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

I will be flying to Waukesha,Wi the sunday following Thanksgiving. I'll be there for 2 weeks. Anyone wanting to get together for dinner please let me know. I've never had a chance to have a face to face conversation with someone who also has a lap band and would love comparing experiences.

I will going home as well (Potosi WI). Just 30 south of Platteville. Unfortunately I will be on my liquid diet (surgery 11/20). The thought of it sounds so good. Perhaps in the future. Enjoy your turkey with the family.

Hey I just booked my second fill at the OCC for the 24 of November. Will be my first trip alone I will be spending 2 nights at the marriot and wonders if anyone else will be there that same time? I sure hope this will help the scale move!!! Getting upset and I hate Halloween!!!

I will be leaving Chicago on Nov 18 and returning on Nov 22. Wanted to spend an extra day relaxing, getting a massage, and shopping. Will be staying at the Marriot.

Thanks for the visual Shelby. About 6 months ago I had lost 30 lbs and my father had placed 30 lbs of birdseed in a bag for me to lift. It was amazing. Unfortunately Ive put 10 of those lbs back on. Thanks Again, Liz

Started pre-op diet yesterday, not easy. Surgery date for 11/20. Looking forward to this new challenge.
