Hello, my name is Sherry and I have been following some of you on the forum. I am considering lap band, but it is such a scarey thing. My mother had gastric bypass about 20 years ago, and she has never been able to eat without vomiting. I have seen her suffer so much with it,although she did lose down to a good weight, and she is still fairly healthy at 80.

Let us know how things go. I am still planning on going when I can come up with money. Keep us posted. Sherry

Hi Elizabeth...yes I would like to shoot for sometime in April but have to come up with the money...will keep you posted what I can come up with.

Do you mind telling me what it costs for your surgery in april? Thinking of going for it in april or may.
