    this is for a basic low-carb flax flatbread. i always make a half batch and store it in the fridge bc it can go rancid otherwise. its easy and if u use a little extra splenda is delicious toasted n buttered :)

    its 6 or 7g fiber per slice ~

  4. hey babe youre coming up on the 4th soon! woohoo! im soooo off track bc of all the feasting last week and this week (work luncheon tomorrow, gonna be another blockbuster) but i am getting back on track starting saturday morning, i promise!

    whens our next mini-goal? i was thinking jan 15th maybe?

  7. Hi Debbie yep I remember. The fill was a pain in the ass, I felt ok at first then got stuck on some bread (ok my fault) but that caused some inflamation, leaving me w/ a pill-stuck-in-throat feeling. did liquids for a few days, ok now. I do seem to be able to eat less, Im hoping the restriction stays and I dont have to go back!

    Bummer ur loss is slowing but #2 is sposta get it going ag...

  8. Hi Kat. Hang in there... Ive heard you dont really feel it until after at least your second fill, if not til after your third.

    In the meanwhile, keep fighting the good fight and making good choices.

    I keep a lo-carb diet and im losing quite a bit, maybe thats something to consider?

  9. Hi Michelle. About breakfast, sausage wont really work unless I chew forever. I do eggs and flax bread. Its gluten free so it doesnt get stuck. Sometimes I just have flaxbread with cream cheese, peanut butter, or something else protein-y slathered on it. I always have tea 1st thing in the AM, otherwise I get the golfball-in-throat-feeling, no matter what I eat. Yuck.

    You can use egg beaters instead if ur watching calories or cholesterol.. Also, I take the easy way out for the bacon and buy Oscar Mayer Bacon Bits, and just use 1T for each slice of bacon.

  16. attagirl! def watch out for soda, i cant burp like at all any more so imagine all those bubbles trapped in my belly, no bueno! i miss fizzy stuff but not so much anymore. u coming back to occ for fill or going elsewhere? good luck w it :D

  22. havent been around, been busy w new job... havnt lost much weight but have been using cold weather as an excuse ... hope you're all doing well!
