I had my fourth fill today and i am at 6 cc's. I still dont have restriction and still eat like a horse. Just wondering what kinds of foods everybody finds keep's them the fullest??

They do the fills blind. The girl is really good but they are very cautious only going 1 cc at a time

I have had 3 fills. First at occ 3 cc's. Second and third fill in calgary 1 cc each time. I dont seem to have restriction and my weight loss is stalled. just wondering what amount of fill other people had.

I believe they want you to lose about 5 percent of your weight. Your Bmi has alot to do with what preop diet they start you ona nd when. I did 2 weeks of preop liquid diet. Also if your on liquids try and find a good tasting protein shake. Also take advantage of all the free salads and veggies you can

Have Some patience it will come. I found after my surgery i retained alot of fluids. Your body is in shock with all the changes you are putting it through. You are doing wonderful things for your body and the number on the scale isnt the end all.

Ive stayed at the Marriot twice and i think it is pretty decent. The staff attend to almost everything you neeed. They are familiar with the occ and what the patients need to eat. There is only a couple of english tv stations but there is free internet. I would stay there again in a heartbeat

I would not go to any other doctor then Dr. Ortiz. His rates are reasonable and he is considered to be the top lapband doctor in the world

i have 4 cc's in my 11 cc band and have never had any trouble with grilled chicken and we eat it about 3 times a week. The chicken we buy cooks up really moist so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

Personally i think pop stars and fashion magazines to influence women to much. I myself love a woman with a little bit of meat on her and some curves, Some of them women in magagizines look like there ribs and spine are going to bust through there skin.

How many people have sought counselling for the mental part of there weight loss journey. I am finding i am really struggling with being hungry all the time. I just had my second fill and i am eating less and i know its not a physical hunger.

I went through something like that. I think i felt i had gone without for so long that i was gonna eat everything in the first couple of weeks back on solids. Try and have a little will power and you will snap out of it.

I was there august 30 th and sat at the border for almost 2.5 hours. i got to the airport at 12:35 for for a 1:25 flight and almost missed my flight. When i had surgery june 28 th we crossed the border in 15 minutes at about 7:20 am

The first few days after starting on solids again i ate uncontrollably also. I think your mind just plays tricks on you because you ahvent ate solid food in so long. Just try your best and you will get it under control

I think it is bad to drink with a meal because it washes the food right threw the band right away. the food only sits there for a minute or 2 but that tells the nerve endings to tell your brain that your starting to get full. Thats my take on it anyways

i had 3 cc's put in my band on Aug 30 at Occ and honestly i felt restriction for the first week but now i feel nothing. i am probbaly ready for another fill but am gonna try and make it a few more weeks before i do

I don't believe it is. Are you maybe getting the flu? Sometimes fever are signs of infection it couldnt hurt to maybe get checked out by a doctor

Make sure you are really well hydrated. I ate about 4 o clock the afternoon before and then nothing till after my fill. I believe they say you shouldnt eat 5 or 6 hours before a fill i played it cautious.

i went through a few days of nausea between about day 7 and 10. I just tried to power through it and once i got on yogurts and a few other things it seemed to have gotten better

Was in tijuana on Monday/Tuesday for a fill and everything was fine. Was actually quieter then when we were there at the end of june for my surgery

Congrats on making the best decision of your life. The OCC is the most wondervul cleanest state of the art place. The staff are amazing and before you know it you will be banded and starting your new life. I was banded june 28th and in all am down 30 pounds.

I think more then anything on Liquids i was missing the feeling of fullness. When a person can't have something they think they are missing it.
