So I was banded june 25 at occ starting weight 198 surgery weight 195 current 177! Had one fill 2 weeks ago 4cc in 11 cc band! Go back in 2 more weeks for 2nd fill! So right now I feel like I have no restriction felt it for 3 days after fill guess from the inflammation? Now I'm struggling and its the week B4 period! Haven't been on scale in a lil over a week but I feel like I could eat a horse. I know its only a tool and were a team (me n my band) but I guess this is perhaps wat u guys always talk about w bandster hell! If u could shed some light on what I'm goin through that would b awesome! Thanks to all

hey mama all is well i just got back from vacation did better then i thought...i think havent gotten on scale yet lolol! but i def have no restriction so it's taking a lot of will power right now, but hey im still eating atleast half if not lil more than previous, get my first fill in like two more weeks so we'll see! my biggest issue was coca cola and i havent had a sip!

So I'm going on 17 days post op I've lost 18 #s! Wooohoo I've been starting to eat like mashed potatoes, had a hotdog w-no skin drenched in ketchup! No issues I sometimes get the "burp" which is an indication I'm full- the problem is I have to literaly remove whatever it is I'm eating cuz I feel like I could just keep going especially if I don't burp. I'm scared I will eat too much-havent pb or slimed yet? Does that only happen once u reach restriction? Or am I doing such a great job w eating tiny bites n chewing well enough? Is it normal to b able to eat now n feel like u could eat a lot-i haven't been help me please I was a little scatterbrain w getting my issues out but I know u guys understand thnk u

Well I'm a respiratory therapist n do 12 hrs like you I was banded june 25 n went back to work july 2nd 7days later! I was ok lil sore cuz I got slammed that night but nothing I couldn't handle I just couldn't help nurses with pull ups! You will be fine n I went back to work the next nite! Good luck

Thanks for the shout out. I just got back from the gym. I walked 2 miles in 40 minutes. Got a great buzz going. Just waiting to be able to eat something with substance!!

I'm from maryland n love crabby stuff! I love hot baked crab dip (backfin crabmeat, cream cheese, sour cream blended n baked w cheddar on top melted) watchyall think ? Also crabcakes n steamed shrimp steamed w old bay? On week 2 post op but will be vacationing at 4 weeks at maryland beach n these items r my fav

Ok so I was banded 6-25 not sure if feeling normal. Not pain I feel just pressure and weird feelings internally almost that I can't describe? And is it normal to get that "full burp?" Already? With broth or fruit iceys I get the burp n I know not to stop! And I'm nervous to take my capsule medicine sooo scared it will get stuck!
