I'm scheduled for the gastric sleeve jan 30, 12. Is anybody else going around that time. I am 54 year old, female, going alone and scared to death. I can't believe the surgery is one week away. If anyone feels like throwing me a postive bone I will be thankful for it. Scared to death and filled with worry in Northern Calif.

Try not to worry. It was the most amazing experience of my life. The OCC treats you so well and Tijuana isn't as scary as people make it out to be. Best of luck to you!!! You are going to do great!!!

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried implementing protein shakes between meals? I have been getting medical grade protein shakes at www.unjury.com and love them! Good luck!!

It was easy as pie! My fill was 4 ccs. I actually feel full really fast now. If things stay this way, I won't need another fill.

Okay all you bandsters out there!!! I arrive in Mexico on Wednesday and scheduled for band on Thursday. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. What can you tell me about the first few days and first month post-op. Will I be hungry? Light-headed? Did you all lost weight initially? I have about 80-90 lbs to love.

Hey!!! You are going to LOVE everything about the OCC and the staff!!! I am heading back in two weeks for my first fill and can't wait!! I didn't have any hunger until around day 10 or so, but it wasn't that bad since my body adjusted to the liquid diet. I have lost about 20 lbs since surgery on 9/10. Try emetrol if you feel any nausea. I had a few bouts of nausea since the liquid diet was so bland. All is well and I love my band!!! Cong...
