  1. I absolutely hate cooking and even though I am eating less I do find myself eating the same unhealthy crap that got me in this mess. I need help in finding easy recipes that are healthy and don't take an hour to prepare. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate them. Thank you very much.

  2. Isn't amazing how everything we do in this society is connected to food, food, food! Especially being a southern girl, I am originally from Mexico and food is also at the center of everything. I think that the elliptical idea was excellent!!! I did the same thing with my threadmill. It also doesn't need to be long, sometimes 10 min of doing something else, is enough to snap us out of it. You are doing awesome!

    I too am a Mexican girl so I know how that goes, food food food all day long. Right now I am trying to figure out what works for me, I have no energy right now so walking is out of the question. So it is now mostly Facebook apps and avoiding everyone lol

  3. Yes Susie I have had the same problems. I know what you are going through is so hard! There were days I cried because I didn't know how to handle life without food as a crutch. Please don't give up. I haven't been very strong in the past and have given up on dieting or rather given in to food. This is the first time in my life I have stuck with any lifestyle change. I feel so much better about myself. For me, I pray alot for strength and it helps. If I can do this, I know you can too. Stay strong and know that others understand how hard it is! It does get easier in time when you see your success on the scale!

    Yeah that's how it's been for me I have been angry one minute and then in tears the next. It is so hard, but I really appreciate the positivity of your message Thank you very much

  4. It is definitely a good idea to get some sort of treatment. I have been looking into counseling because I realized since my surgery, that I have MAJOR issues with food. I looked into O A but I'm not quite sure if the 12 steps are right for me. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to them.
