  1. i am confused about this erosion thing alot of you are talking about. how do you know if you have erosion? i drink about 4 carbonated sodas a day? is this bad?

i had my band in dec.2004. lost 40lbs. and recently gained back about 20lbs, after my husbands death.

i am wondering if i should have even had it done.how much does it cost to have it taken out it it is eroded? and if it needs to be redone do i nee to pay full price again???i am starting to get upset at the thought!! :(

  2. "I THINK"!!!

i have totally gone off the hook! i think i am eating to fast. even when i try to eat very slow with very small bites i just manage to end up with bigger bites and eating faster. i am so depressed over this. :(

like if the phone rings or someone walks in and starts talking to me. i totally lose my pace.

i had my band on dec 08-04. i did great at first. lost 25 lbs by the end of jan for my first fill. since o have lost 10 more but gained back like 5. i feel like i should be losing more weight. needless to say i have been pbing pretty much everyday for about a month. also i have had a little carbonated hanes diet soda. do you think that that will hurt me?

but gang, all in all my problems are all due to my carelessness. i am very happy with the surgery and all of the staff. infact...."I LOVE THEM"

good luck to all, and if anyone can help me get back on track, i would appreciate it alot.

    love, carol

  3. i had my surgery on dec.8,04

i leave to TJ tomorrow morning for my first fill. i am very excited, and i hope all goes well.

i lost 8lbs the first few days and by the end of second week i was down a total of 20 lbs, then slowly since then  now i am down another 5 :P i know they say it slows down but it's kind of a tease. i hope after my fill i will lose at least another 20 lbs fast

i feel great and i have joined weight watchers and a gym. the gym helps me stay focused. i sleep better and i don't get as hungry so quick or cravings either. and weight watchers helps me to not eat over the calories i'm allowed.

    good luck all!!! carol gonzales
