  1. There are so many new babyfoods out there now. Especially the gerber steps that have babyfood and more corse food for older kids. Purely for time saving is it good to use babyfood as the food I consume during the soft food period.

  2. I had my RNY 9 years ago. I have since gained 75% of my weight back. Looking for ways to get motivated and get back on track. More than willing to do another surgery if there is one available to jump start my weightloss.

Wondering how many have done the same thing and are feeling as I am?

  3. I know that this post is older but I thought I would answer it now because I have a friend who has the same condition and she is taking the same med. She says it takes a couple weeks to get used to taking it then she was better. She says it helps. I hope after all this time you are feeling better, doing well and losing the weight you thought you would.

  4. Hope you are still lurking on this site and just haven't posted because no one has responded to you in awhile. Now that you have had your surgery are things better? Are you having nightmares about the surgery or was it better than you thought it would be. New here and would like to hear about your progress.

  5. Hi,,,

Yeah, you said it right.I agree with you suzeetim. If you have gained the lost weight back what are you currently using.

    Any diet plan?

    Exercise?

No diet plan yet. Sort of cutting back on the sugar and fried foods. Have purchased a stationary bike and am riding it 30 min each day. Trying to get motivated to really start back. For some reason surgery motivates me and I stay on track once I have something done. Hope to get back on track with minimal pain.

  6. I had a band (think it was call vertical banding??) done in 1985. Weighed 305lbs. Lost 100 lbs in 6 months but had complications and was not able to swallow my own saliva but didn't tell anyone because I was so happy with the weight loss. Collapsed at 6 months and was hospitalized. IVs put on 30 lbs which took another 6 months to get back off but I wasn't sick anymore. Lowest weight 202lbs.

Started gaining. Went back up to 330 lbs. 2002 had Revision RNY bypass. Got medial (70 inches). Went to 222lbs. Still have diarrhea problem but weight loss has stopped. I will admit to not following the restrictions anymore.

Now back to 280 lbs but want to loose again. Am looking for alternate method to restart my loss and get me motivated to stay on track.

I have back-slidden but have not given up.
